Dear Lacemaker,

For the pleasure of our visitors, the Manoir-Papineau National Historic Site of Canada wants to invite you to participate in our annual Lacemaker's Day which will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006.  From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can demonstrate your lacemaking techniques in the enchanted surroundings of the manor and there will be an exposition of selected lace items in the Salon  Bleu.  Come and share your passion and lacemaking techniques with our
visitors.

To thank you for your participation in our annual Lacemakers Day, you and your guests may take a free guided visit of the manor.  New in 2006, we will provide chairs for your use, as well as a  cold  buffet for lunch in the Salle Bourassa.  We will also provide the bottled water and golf kart service from the parking to the manor.

To ensure visibility for our event an information bulletin will be sent to local media in the Petite-Nation, the Outaouais and the National Capital Region.

In case of rain, activities will be held inside the manor or its outbuildings.

 Journée champêtre

dans le Jardin Van Den Hende

Le but de cette rencontre est d’échanger entre nous en profitant du bel endroit où nous nous installons pour pique-niquer ensemble. Les visiteurs sont nombreux et intéressés en ce qui concerne notre Art… ainsi nous contribuons par notre présence, à faire connaître l’Association et le jardin que nous occupons pour ce dimanche. 

Vous devez apporter votre kit de survie :

·        Matériel dentellier ou de broderie

·        Table et chaise

·        Chapeau pour le soleil

·        Lunch pour le dîner

·        Votre entregent afin de donner de l’information au public…

Nous avons commandé, comme d’habitude, de la belle température.
Si toutefois ça se gâtait, nous pourrons nous installer à l’intérieur
du beau Pavillon Envirotron, tout près et bien éclairé.

Une agréable journée nous attend!
